Post image for SPOTTED: A coordinated mix

Lisa spotted outside Bobst:

Earrings: (a gift from her mom; from the Moma Design Store in Tokyo)
Scarf: (a gift from her friend; from Alexandria, Egypt)
Coat: Anthropologie, $150
Bag: (a birthday gift; from Lucky Brand)
Jeans: Benetton (Tokyo), $200
Shoes: Repetto (Paris), €130

Favorite store/designer:
Zachary’s Smile, Built by Wendy
Describing her style: Eclectic
Where are you from?: Tokyo
What did you do for Thanksgiving?: Attempted to cook a turkey with friends
School, Year, Major: CAS, Senior, International Relations & French Literature

Why we spotted her:
When we approached Lisa, she proclaimed how she had a hard time trying to make parts of her ensemble match with each other. Well, it worked! We’re not looking for students who have tops and shoes in matching colors, or an entire outfit plucked out from a store front mannequin. Sometimes it’s the subtlety of the overall feel that catches our attention. In this case, Lisa’s truly international mix of different pieces came well together to form a coordinated ensemble that’s absolutely striking.
