How would you describe your style?
Ladylike maybe? I enjoy cute dresses, love headbands and any kind of accessory
Why we spotted her:
I just can’t get enough of this demure dress! Cowl neck meets drawstring waist gives us the ultimate in versatility, comfort, and–of course–style. Soojung layers the piece with a classic black tee for added girlish charm, accentuated by a pair of delicate, glimmering flats. The softness and marled pattern of the dress give Soojung an urban, fashion-forward edge that makes this polished look anything but prim and proper!
Dress: Roni, $250. Tights: Zara, $20. Flats: Aldo, $60.

How would you describe your style?
Native American Pin-Up
Why we spotted her:
A vision of true individualism, Rosie makes her jeans-and-sweater combo her own with some great stand-out pieces. The spotted jacket and bright red boots add the perfect dose of color and pattern to her look, while her cap looks fresh in a sea of trappers and beanies. Sometimes a good flea market and a keen eye is all it takes to create any style you want: it’s pretty astounding how Native American Pin-Up completely makes sense here!

How would you describe your style?
I love mixing basics with one or two pieces that will stand out. I love color and I always try to incorporate it in my outfits or my makeup.
Why we spotted her:
Behold the transformative power of a great coat! A little batik and a little damask, this statement piece brilliantly marries demure and daring. The perfect-fit structure gives Libby a pulled-together appearance that’s still playful and fun, thanks to this great pink color. But take note that what really makes the look pause-worthy is Libby’s rosy smile! So chin up, everybody — it’s almost spring!

How would you describe your style?
No idea
…vintage
Why we spotted her:
The balance of light colors with just a couple choice saturated hues in Massiel’s look is smart and striking. No single item is very similar to another; leather, twill, and cotton work together in a textural give-and-take that sums up to the easy sophistication greeting your eyes! We’d love to see what would come of Massiel + a big, heaping pile of vintage odds and ends.
Scarf: Beacon’s Closet, $12. Coat: Forever 21, $24. Sweater: Forever 21 , $11. Bag: Buffalo Exchange, $30. Pants: Charlotte Russe, $54. Shoes: gift, $20.

School, Year in School, Major:
Parsons, Sophomore, Fine Arts.
Where are you on your way to?
I’ve just come from painting class at Parsons and I’m on my way to NYU’s Bobst Library. I’m meeting up with friends to discuss an upcoming design project. I also need to pick up some books on the Russian art movement, Suprematism, while I’m there.
Favorite stores/brands?
Steven Alan, Built By Wendy, In God We Trust, Smith & Butler, Mociun and Bird in Brooklyn.
Where are you from?
I live in Brooklyn, but am originally from Connecticut.
How would you describe your style?
I like to mix high end with vintage and up and coming designers. Color, pattern and quality are essential. Comfort might even be my number one priority. If something is too trendy I take a pass; I want to wear my things for a long time. Individuality is huge for me: my clothing reflects my personality and I expect it to be functional for my lifestyle.
F.Y.I.:
My friend Charlie and I are currently working on our own line, Colony. We’re taking the historical styles of the everyday working class and transforming them into a down-to-earth type of luxury.
Why we spotted her:
Kimi’s look is evidence of her totally unaffected disposition. Kimi isn’t striving to fit in with the majority of young women her age who view the term “trendy” as a compliment. Not only is it obvious that Kimi is one of a kind, but it’s also clear that she’s familiar with the motto “less is more.”
Bandana: A gift from Dad. Jacket: Lauren Moffatt, $200, sample sale. Jeans: AG Angel Jeans, $175. Bag: Isabella Fiore at Otto Tootsi Plohound, $300, sale.
Kimi spotted at La Guardia Place and Washington Square Park South.

Where are you on your way to?
To put more caffeine in my body
Favorite store/brand?
Lately my grandma’s friend has been cleaning out her closet and mailing me her old clothes, so the post office.
Where are you from?
Outer space, more recently a suburb in Virginia
How would you describe your style?
Getting dressed is fun, but also sometimes hard, I’m usually running late and just throw on a lot of things and hope they match. If it were more socially acceptable I’d wear a nightgown everywhere.
Why we spotted her:
Anna’s combination of warm accessories and cozy textures with the florals and military-inspired boots of the moment makes her homespun style feel very new. The look’s resistance to matching — and Anna’s shopping sources — suggest some splendidly inventive instincts are at work. It is entirely cohesive, yet uncontrived. Looks like Anna will be turning heads come rain, sleet, or snow!
Hat: “That thing’s been in my mom’s house for years, I took it back with me after Christmas.” Coat: thrift store, $12. Scarf: “I stole it from my mom, she has a great scarf collection.” Dress: Urban Outfitters, sale, $10. Bag: Schuler & Sons, at Anthropologie, $100. Top: “You can’t really see it but I’m wearing a little boys’ shirt with camouflage airplanes on it. My best friend and I got matching ones at Target a few years ago, it’s my favorite,” $4.

Where are you on your way to?
My next class.
Favorite store/brand?
I like Japanese fashion styles so I tend to shop from Moussy, Sly, Swordfish etc. But sadly there aren’t any of these stores available here in NYC.
Where are you from?
I’m from Hong Kong :)
How would you describe your style?
Hmmm…Casual/girly.
Why we spotted her:
Juliet’s fox fur alone makes a statement, but with her adorable toggle-coat and modern driving gloves, Juliet emits a totally youthful vibe. She keeps the look cute and accessible by wearing just a few eye-catching pieces, rather than adding excess jewelry and accessories which would make the outfit appear cluttered.
Coat: Moussy, $200. Fox Fur: Moussy, $400. Boots: DSW, $100. Pants: Boutique in Hong Kong, $20. Gloves: Mango, $70. Bag: Louis Vuitton, $1,400.
Juliet spotted at 13th and University Place.
