I stole this from fashionista.com, because they're amazing. And because I wanted to wish you a happy fourth of July as fashionably as possible. And I haven't been able to do any scouting since June. And this is a long arse caption... :)

Miladies and gents,

I have just recently returned from an incredible, month-long summer vacay that consisted of flying to Taiwan, then Japan, then Taiwan, then Korea, then back to Taiwan. Love all three locations. You must visit them all. Must! They are all fantabulous! I’m back in the U.S. now, of course. Awww, yes I am almost over my jet-lag already, so thoughtful of you to ask :).

Extreme thanks to Candice, Juan, Annick, and Grace–they’ve done an incredible job with SS while I’ve been MIA.

So since I’ve come back, I’ve decided to do some serious overdue updates on the site. Isn’t it BEAUTIFUL now? I fixed the header, added a nice background, stuck some featured links to the right, created a “Press” page, scattered fun G-Ads throughout………………………………

Whew. Those few changes literally took 12 hours. No joke. 9:30 am – 9:30 pm. BUT…ISN’T IT BEAUTIFUL??!??! (I know, I already asked that. Seriously though, let me know your thoughts in the comments). That’s what happens when a fashionista attempts web design. But hey, I still did it all, right? I’m actually not-so-secretly super proud of myself right now. *grins*

The weekend will be dedicated to watching fireworks and making more riveting changes to the site. So keep checking in when you’re not busy trying to hit the “FREEE” in “The Star Spangled Banner.” Cool? Cool.
